That moment when you pass by someone you know and they say “Hey! How are you?” and you reply “Good!” Let’s all be honest; you’re lying. No one is ever as happy or cheery on the inside as they are on the outside. This is college. The land where professors set ridiculously impossible standards, perfect GPA’s are unobtainable, and feeling overwhelmed is a natural state of being. However, no one wants to say what they are really thinking because they might be labeled as depressing or negative. Thankfully, we have April Ludgate who always tells it like it is.
For those of you who are not Parks and Rec fans, first of all: you should be. Second of all: it’s okay because April’s knowledge is universal. Her outward brashness is our inward truth.
