One of the greatest blessings mankind has been gifted with is the heavenly coffee bean.
Coffee beans come from the centers of cherry-like fruits, called coffee cherries or coffee berries (that’s right—coffee beans come from fruit. Which means coffee is “technically” a fruit), which are then cultivated and prepared to sheer perfection for our consumption. #Blessed
While there are many different areas to touch on regarding this liquid heaven and its many wonders—like the different types of coffee beans, the various brewing methods, and how to make yourself a quality cup at home—in this installment of “Coffee Culture” I will be describing what makes up the six classic coffee drinks that can be found at pretty much any coffee shop. In hopes that you, the reader, are better informed the next time you get your caffeine fix.

- topped with foam (steamed milk)
CAPPUCCINO
When you order one, you at least seem like you know what you’re talking about.

- 1/3 foam
MOCHA
For those who don’t like coffee but need the energy boost.
- 1/3 espresso
- 2/3 steamed milk
- add chocolate

You are an experienced coffee-drinker.
