Ever since she could remember Samantha Bragg always loved woodwork: carpentry, joinery and design. Growing up in the Dallas suburb of Forney on her family’s 20 acre rural property and spending time in the Pacific Northwest, Bragg always been close to nature.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017, Bragg put her education to use by creating Eko Deko, a home décor company that created sustainable wood art made from repurposed wood. Bragg launched the company by herself in the September of 2017 using an online store with photographs of her work where her customers could place orders. Since then, Bragg has expanded her business to having a weekly pop-up shop at the Dallas Farmers Market. Learn more about Eko Deko in this video.
